How I can support you

Low Mood & Depression

Persistent low mood, loss of motivation, withdrawal from life, or intrusive negative thoughts can significantly affect daily functioning. Therapy offers an opportunity to understand the development of these difficulties and to work systematically toward restoring energy, perspective, and emotional balance.

This might include symptoms of:

Losing motivation to do hobbies you usually enjoy.
Significant changes in appetite or weight (increase or decrease).
Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt.
Sleep disturbances—insomnia or sleeping too much.

Anxiety &
Panic Disorder

Anxiety can manifest in many ways, including generalized worry, social anxiety, panic, or phobias. Through a structured approach, therapy helps identify triggers, understand maintaining patterns, and build effective coping strategies to reduce distress and regain confidence in daily life.

This might include:

Social Phobia (Social Anxiety Disorder)
Agoraphobia (Fear of crowded places, open spaces, or leaving home.)
Claustrophobia (for example in Elevators, planes, tunnels, MRI scanners)

Obsessive
Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

OCD can involve intrusive thoughts, repetitive behaviours, or mental rituals that interfere with daily functioning. Therapy provides a structured and supportive framework to explore these patterns, develop strategies to reduce compulsions, and regain flexibility and control.
Treatment includes ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and CBT.‍
OCD can take on many different forms, but includes:

Contamination & Cleaning OCD
Symmetry, Ordering & Arranging OCD
Intrusive Thoughts / Mental OCD of a sexual, religious, harmful nature
Health-Related OCD

Burnout Recovery

Work-related pressure, high expectations, and “always-on” lifestyles can lead to exhaustion and burnout. Therapy helps recognise early warning signs, develop boundaries, and create sustainable routines that protect your mental and physical health.

Those struggling with burnout may experience (among many other symptoms):

Emotional Exhaustion
Cognitive Impairment
Physical Symptoms (chronic fatigue, headaches, insomnia)
Irritability & Mood Changes
Self-Care Neglect

Feeling Trapped and like they will never be able to work again

Expat Transitions‍ ‍

Living in a different country can affect you in ways that are hard to name. You might feel more on edge, disconnected from yourself or others, or unsure where you belong.
Therapy can help you make sense of these changes, especially when you’re navigating cultural differences, isolation, or the emotional impact of building a life away from what’s familiar or your family.

Life Transitions

Periods of change can unsettle how you see yourself and your place in the world. This might show up as anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer fit.

This can include:

Relationship changes or loss
Health or life shifts
Identity exploration, including gender or sexuality
Feeling lost in yourself
Self-development to become your "best" self

About me

My approach to therapy is inclusive, collaborative, and non-judgemental. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to speak openly, explore difficult experiences, and show up as you are, including if you are questioning or exploring aspects of your identity.

Therapy with me is mindful and CBT-informed, supporting you to notice and understand patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we explore what may be maintaining certain difficulties, while developing more supportive and flexible ways of relating to yourself and your experiences.

I place strong emphasis on working at a pace that feels right for you. There is no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready, and no expectation to fit into a particular way of thinking or being. Therapy is not about judgement or labels, but about curiosity, understanding, and creating space for change.

My aim is to support you in developing insight, self-compassion, and practical tools that you can carry into daily life — helping you feel more grounded, confident, and aligned with yourself.
