Anxiety can manifest in many ways, including generalized worry, social anxiety, panic, or phobias. Through a structured approach, therapy helps identify triggers, understand maintaining patterns, and build effective coping strategies to reduce distress and regain confidence in daily life.

This might include:

Social Phobia (Social Anxiety Disorder)
Agoraphobia (Fear of crowded places, open spaces, or leaving home.)
Claustrophobia (for example in Elevators, planes, tunnels, MRI scanners)

How I can support you

Anxiety &
Panic Disorder

Obsessive
Compulsive
Disorder (OCD)

OCD can involve intrusive thoughts, repetitive behaviours, or mental rituals that interfere with daily functioning. Therapy provides a structured and supportive framework to explore these patterns, develop strategies to reduce compulsions, and regain flexibility and control.
Treatment includes ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and CBT.‍

‍OCD can take on many different forms, but includes:

✔Contamination & Cleaning OCD
✔Symmetry, Ordering & Arranging OCD
✔Intrusive Thoughts: Harm OCD, Sexual OCD, Religion OCD, to name a few

Low Mood & Depression

Persistent low mood, loss of motivation, withdrawal from life, or intrusive negative thoughts can significantly affect daily functioning. Therapy offers an opportunity to understand the development of these difficulties and to work systematically toward restoring energy, perspective, and emotional balance.

This might include symptoms of:

✔Losing motivation to do hobbies you usually enjoy.
✔Significant changes in appetite or weight (increase or decrease).
✔Feelings of worthlessness or excessive guilt.
✔Sleep disturbances—insomnia or sleeping too much.

Work-related pressure, high expectations, and “always-on” lifestyles can lead to exhaustion and burnout. Therapy helps recognise early warning signs, develop boundaries, and create sustainable routines that protect your mental and physical health.

Those struggling with burnout may experience (among many other symptoms):

Emotional Exhaustion
Cognitive Impairment
Physical Symptoms (chronic fatigue, headaches, insomnia)
Irritability & Mood Changes
Self-Care Neglect
Feeling Trapped and like they will never be able to work again

Expat Transitions‍ ‍

Burnout Recovery

Living in a different country can affect you in ways that are hard to name. You might feel more on edge, disconnected from yourself or others, or unsure where you belong.
Therapy can help you make sense of these changes, especially when you’re navigating cultural differences, isolation, or the emotional impact of building a life away from what’s familiar or your family.

Life Transitions

Periods of change can unsettle how you see yourself and your place in the world. This might show up as anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer fit.

This can include:

✔Relationship changes or loss
✔Health or life shifts
✔Identity exploration, including gender or sexuality
✔Feeling lost in yourself
✔Self-development to feel better in your self

About me

My approach to therapy is collaborative, grounded, and non-judgemental. I aim to create a space where you feel safe to speak openly, explore difficult experiences, and show up as you are — including if you are navigating anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or questioning aspects of your identity.

My work integrates ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), CBT, and mindful, body-based approaches. This means we don’t just talk about your thoughts — we actively work with them. Together, we begin to understand the patterns that keep anxiety or OCD going, and gently shift how you respond, so they start to lose their intensity and hold over you.

Alongside this, we also focus on your nervous system — helping you feel more grounded, regulated, and supported in your body, not just in your mind.

I place strong emphasis on working at a pace that feels right for you. There is no pressure to face anything before you’re ready, and no expectation to fit into a certain way of being. At the same time, therapy is an active process — one that supports meaningful, lasting change.

My aim is to help you feel less stuck in loops of anxiety or overthinking, and more able to respond to your thoughts with clarity, confidence, and self-trust — both in and outside of therapy.
